New regulations require the use of a Transfer Authorization code for all domain transfers. A Transfer Authorization Code is a six to 16 character code assigned as an added security measure to ensure that only the Registrant (Owner) of the domain name can transfer the domain name to another registrar. You can get this code from your current domain registrar.

A domain transfer includes one additional year of registration and costs the same as a domain renewal. If your domain name is already registered with NetFronts, please continue at Renew Domain Name.

The transfer process is simple, but additional action from the domain registrant is necessary for the transfer to be successful. The domain registrant will receive two emails confirming your wish to transfer the domain: one from NetFronts’ partner registrar, Enom; and one from your current registrar. Be on the look out for the emails, respond with your approval, and your name will be transferred. Via email, you will receive notification of the final result. Payment will not be processed unless the transfer is successful.

IMPORTANT: To allow for a successful transfer, please ensure your domain registration is not expired, locked, and has not been renewed with your current registrar within the past 60 days. In addition, confirmation emails will be sent to the email address presently listed on your domain registration record. If the above mentioned conditions are not met and the domain's contact email address is not current, you will not be able to transfer your domain. To check all of these factors, please perform a WHOIS search on your domain name. Please contact your current registrar if you need to update your domain record.

Transfer requests submitted for .org, .us, .info, and .biz may require an authorization key from your current registrar. NetFronts will contact you and request this key if it's necessary to initiate the transfer.
